We Set The Dark On Fire is a perspective shaking book on Feminism. I had no expectations coming into this duology. Yes there is a second book and I cannot wait for it to come out.
I’m a fan of an enticing plot line, characters, and action and this book certainly delivered.
One thing that surprised me the most was the plot twisting romance in the novel. I don’t hate romance but this book has certainly raised my interested in the genre.
The challenge our main faces created a pro feministic view point that I admire and respect. As a male my perspective has changed a lot on how woman her perceived and treated.
To my surprise again the romance between our two female characters Dani and Carmen raises awareness for the LGBTQ. There bond really drove the narrative. As well as show how difficult it is to trust someone sometimes.
